The solution, many of which may seem completely new is already being retired. The rear projection method that is displaying an image on large screens by using mirrors and lenses is not profitable. Television of this kind are of great dimensions, low durability and are expensive. At a time of record development of LCD and plasmas manufacturers focus on solutions, where production is cheap and the demand high. In connection with the production of rear-projection withdrew already Epson, Hitachi and Sony.
